i was out today and was gna buy war3+Ft although all i managed to get was FT >< lol i was wondering if i did get a copy of the game with a different serial but used my official new FT battle.net serial would i be able to play online?

uh I'm not sure if I understand your question however... you have different serial number for both war3 and FT anyways..

If i use a random cd-key for roc found online but then install Frozen Throne with a legit cd-key will i be able to play B-Net or do i need both the keys to be legit to play FT Bnet.?

If you give a non-original/non-working key for roc and original for tft your bnet I think will still not work. That's because there is a program pickuplist.checker smth like that, used to connect to bnet through LAN. The settings include entering the original keys on a file and I made a mistake in the roc key, so entering FT bnet didn't work. So, both need to be working in bnet.

I'm not 100% sure but 70% you need the original roc too.

if that RoC is non-battle.net cdkey.. then no

if you're like me, and you got Legit ROC from the net, then it shoudl work.
