Necromancer Help

Some games I am forced to make necros for team games, so I mix them with fiends and ghouls. I get a Dread Lord and a Death Knight as a hero for this team combo. Then, the bad things start to happen, one of the 3 happens.

1)It seems that I have little units and I cannot revive the full army, my skeletons end up getting killed.

2) I don't exactly get the support I need from my allies, and they leave me open to melee and ranged to kill me.

3) Air comes, I web, but I cannot seem to decimate the air without having to micro like crazy.

I know my advice is a little, lacking awesomeness. I would appreciate any help trying to get these necro armies to work properly. Any help would be appreciated.

3) umm.... fiends? they do like 40 dmg pierce against light armors!

crack ghouls with necrowagon with a handful of gargs never seems to fail in team games.

I use crack ghouls in any game. One game I possessed 5 aboms using banshees when I was making aboms and banshees. Holding the enemies aboms were my acquired units, aboms, and crack ghouls. It owned the aboms team and forced the necro team to retreat. I should alos get some statues in there too. Necrowagon I tried once, won but I lost a majority of my necros, not the wagons because of range.
