lv 3 flamestrike is better then lv 3 blizz IMO becuz the extra burn after is better in the long run. but then again blizz affects air...flame doesnt...

I think blizzard is better, only because it is tougher to dodge, and more likely to do at least SOME damage.

Lets settle this. they both suck. havent seen either used in a game for like 4 patches now, when was it capped? that was the day these two spells died

Flame is better but when you cast lvl 3 blizzard on berserkers, archers even bears isnt it good? Who cares that they are capped if you make blizzard all the time. The same with flame, dmg cap just makes you cast another time to kill units. Even the AM + BM strat from 1.12 is still useful.

Flame strike does more damage in one big blow so it's good in the middle of a fray where units are trapped, but if they can easily move then it is useless because of the symbol on the ground. Blizzard can be great for surprising people and making them focus on their casters at the back to get them out and leave their meat shields unattended, then again I guess flamestrike does the same thing... =/. I guess flame strike is better but blizzard is sooo much cooler. I love it when I get blizzard cast on my dryads.

i always go we/blizz/aura/blizz/blizz trust me it works wonders.

Hmm yes Samsara. I use WEs, i would go blizzard: vs mass archers and potm or dotts, sometimes bears (sux i lost anyway), berserkers, any human because they can dispell your WE. If you dispell theirs and use AOE on their casters, a loss for him.
