| H~What do you think? Maybe this is a stupid idea, but as humans when you have workshop build some mortars,
and hit and run attack their farms.
When they cant build any more units,
take your army and attack. Sounds good/bad? |

| thats a pretty cool idea...but what happens when the opponent directly confronts you and you start running and you loose a few units at a time on the way back...Oh yeah and there is speed building...farms will finish in seconds...BUt it is a good idea to do it once or twice if teh enemy is not nearby

| Hehe yeah maybe but if there is two entrances to his base then u could attack one with ur army and when all units are there then mortars/tanks kill every building in the second entrance

| I've tried this start a couple times against Human, Undead, Night Elf, and Orc.
It works pretty good to do guerilla style warfare by hit and run, but you have to have a large enuogh squad of mortars to take out a farm or severly damage a building in a few hits because once they're onto you they usually outrun your mortars and kill them.
Now, if you attack from two fronts, it works wonders becuase they will focus directly on one, then they have to spread out their forces to deal with both sides. However, I find it better to make 2 hereos, and diversify both armies with mortars (and/or tanks), casters and footies/rifles/knights because if you just have your seige on one side and your attacking force on the other your seige is generally weaker against units, and if you have another hero there + healers he stands no chance unless he's been prepared for an attack. I've only done it a couple times, but each time I did, he had to try and split up his attack force, which didn't work too well cuz he had to spread out his units to attack bother forces, and I would alternate between my abilities on the heroes to take out his high level hero, and his 2nd was usually neve rhigher then 3 so he was taken out amidst the fury.

| OMG icedevil!!! u sound like a pro now thats how you start ataking. but the prob is if he defends the first wave he might try it on you like.... he gets wyverns and counters ur 2 sided atak. so then he ataks u 2 sided. then you would be in trouble. the strouble is that they might copy what you do and it is all over Battlenet in a few seconds |

| I use 2-3 Morts in any combo I use. To destroy buildings, take out unarmored units and medium armored units with ease, and to add that extra kick. |

| hmmm it works better against orcs, as burrows have heavy armor and not fortified.... ( they may upgrade them to fortified, but it's only @ tier 3, and by that time this strategy won't work anymore...)

| Naw It sounds like it would work but if u hit and run they can just rebuild and they will make men and ur strat wont work. And since he knows where u r going to attack after the first hit and runs then if they were actually good they would put their men there and ur strat wouldnt work. And if it is a team match then most likely there will b more men over there after the first time you attack. Best thing to do is mass and then attack with everything u got. |
