Whats your thoughts on him, and what is probably the most effective way to use him, considering i am thinking of using as first hero.

well i dont get kotg for first hero because being a ranged hero, he goes down easy. Although this does not matter for the other races ranged heroes, it matters for ne because their tier 1 units are also ranged and vulnerable to melee(this is y i usually get dh or warden)
But i guess if u get him as 1st hero u could use him to harass workers with entangle roots........

harras kill workers and in battle entagle the highest health units. Do not attack the entangled units unless they have good micro and keep moving all the other units back when dieing

entangling is main reason why you use Kotg, and I recommand DH as first hero, hes the true tanker.

rofl kotg owns. the only reason ahappychineseboy hates him is becuz kotg pwns his units!! entangle = ownage. what i do in games is 2 get him 2 ent units from running away or heros. i use it as much as possible cuz ent owns!!!!

I love how Beautiful Disaster's gigantic signature fills up my entire screen and I wonder "My! Isn't that tiny!"

Keebler of the Grove is spanktastic. Treants get a armor bonus from the ancient upgrade in Tier 2 and you can have like a bajillion. Next to that you have entangle that causes roots to attack a sad little unit. Traumatizing.

KotG is the BEST HERO if rushed you make the keeper entange heros or units next to ur aow or tree of life and it = GG unit.
It is by far the best for harrassing workers.
pesant = 1 entagle 2 hits
peon = 1 entagle 2-3hits (not sure i normaly do 3 hits)
wisp = 1 entangle

undead i am not sure since i dont bother trying to harras them

entangle also got buffed at level 3, but when his kotg is 5, most likely you'll have dispel =D

Thats why I hate Entangle, it can be dispelled like theres no tomorrow, useless in the end, just use it hope that enemy doesnt notice.

a lv 3 entangle does like 900 dmg or something. I go lv 1 entangle lv 2 treants lv 3 Treants Lv 4 Entangle Lv 5 treants 1.17 I probably wont use the keeper anymore. He's good on orc because grunts don't come in large numbers and are expensive and they need walkers for the dispell. You could do it in mirror but you're better off getting a potm or DH. and on human and Undead it's just not worth it gouls arn't worth it neither are foots. and late game he's going to goul garg (with statues that will become destroys) and the human will have preist.
