early game, get a kotg with entangle. Entangle takes a unit out of combat and if ur a ud palyer u shouldn't have many fiends to spare plus they are damn expensive. also dont focus on the entangled fiend focs elsewhere so the DK doesnt jsut coil the entalged unit. that way the damage is being delt to two fiends at once, not jsut one.
Archers counter fiends, simply because elunes grace stops any real damage from being delt. Only problem is ghouls and skelly rods. therefore u need maybe a few hutns in case but otherwise archers are a better counter cause they take no damage from fiends, and fiends are so big u cant move them so u have to coil them.
Get mg's. Hunts and warden should pull there own till you get mg's and Faire dragons. Fiends own hunts but you should be able to out number him with hunts till you get the mg's two mg's is all you need make sure to fast expand.
