NE~What is your primary units?

Every1 has a main units that they use more ofter then others. What is yours?

Dryads. They provide amazing anti magic protection, great ranged cover and slow poison.

When I play NE, I do so in 2v2. And I for the most part mass driads.

Massing Bears and Dryads own 75% of people, unless they go air.

archers, they're the most upgradeable unit, they get the help from the aura from the POTM and you can eventually upgrade them to hippo riders, which is what I usually do. But a lot depends on what my partners are doing as well.

Mass hunts and archers. Chims are useless at the end, admittedly, but if you can get them early they tear apart early skirmishers. Just watch out for flyers.

when im NE, i usually mass dryads, mostly because of their immunity to magic, abolish magic, and slow poison. air mostly doesnt stand a match to a lot of dryads.

Hunts because they are the early unit so if I win or lose its usually with hunts

I can get dryads faster then you can get a group of hunts. Drys kick trash.

ok unless you havent noticed hippos riders are the worst units from ne
-they cost twice as much food (archer and hippo)
-they do half as much damage as hippos alone
-if you try to mass them it leaves your hero unprotected

my strat for might elf is to mix it up
you cant just mass 1 unit or you will be owned by any player above lvl 10.
i voted for chymeras though just because i like them the best and use em a lot

i think that hunts are used to much, thats why i laugh when some one uses hunts alone to attack me. against a balanced force and exspecially air.

I go with hunts for two reasons, one they are still a ranged unit and can benifit from trueshot, two with moon glaive they become alot more devastating

Well, I'm gonna say i like hunts.

HOWEVER, i say a balanced army is better then a mass of 1 because it is much more versatile and nearly impossible to counter. I have gotten comments in ffa mainly saying "Wow, yur 1 of the first ne players ive seen who DIDNT mass drys or hunts. GJ"

personally, i like the archers best, though i beleive u should have a well ballanced army. If u just use archers, when someone sends tons of melee mmen, u r SCREWED, yet if u have melee, and they send air, same situation. never masss, never splurge, upgrade at the beginning and build the cheapest unts. My personall startegy is:

build a army of chimeras and archers, get Demonhunter hero, and go kill stiff quickly, JUST RUSH THEM
