HU~ Riflemen and Moutain King

Has anyone ever realized how much they own? Riflemen are so good against melee, i had like 5 of them and they took down a mountain giant no problem. They own huntress hands down, and with the mountain king its even butter, so you can throw the bolt(whatever its called) at the hero and start hitting him with rifles, and hes dead in no time, or you can bolt the hero and hit all his units. The archmage is nice with em too, as long as you have the MK with you. I didnt even upgrade the riflemen and i owned him so badly.

This works well against NE and maybe against UD. It certainly is useless in mirror match and its better to get an AM against orcs for those we's.

Thats the usual hero strat
But massing rifles vs humans or orcs sucks. I see latley that they make some rifles vs orc, not mass but when they have some footmen 3-4 rifles would do well against grunts.

Yeah, i dont really mass them, i never mass anything. I always go against what my opponet had. Last game i started off with some footmen, teched up a bit, starting getting rifles, and all my footmen died. Then i got a whole shitload of priests with disspell, because my opponet was Undead, and he was doing the Necro, and Skull mages strat, so i ruined him.

The good UDs dont do necros but really thats the way to do - a little from everything.Massing is for teams.

There is no harm in massing rifles against orcs as long as you have caster support. But make sure you finish the orc in tier2.. otherwise bloodlusted taurens w/pulverize would devastate you.

Trust me, it doesnt work well with NE, if NE gets mgs + bears and few dotts and dyrads with 2nd kotg hero, human army gets raped basically, even with caster support.

No, rifles pretty much own all of NE's melee.

Not MGs, remember, Rifles have pierce attacks while Mgs have medium.

Also, bears are good cheese too.

I know then can take MG's, but i dont know about beats. MG's are slow ****s.

so? entangle can hold you army, rejuvanation can heal mgs, and dyrads in the back and slow your army too ^^; and abolish slow if your sorc casts it.

Plus warden can use FoK on your rifles or casters several times and they will just get ripped apart.

During the oreviuos month I was taught that if a NE doesnt mass hunts I'd better have only 1 sorc and more priests to dispell roots and of course breakers with the rifles. I made it and with elementals they were owned.Also if you add morts the NE has no chance trust me.

Well i was talking about early tier2. If the NE can get bears/mg's with skin upgrades and dryads... you can most certainly add spellbreakers to your army. That way you would own.

MK first + Pally 2nd + SB + griffs = pwnage in 2v2 if you can get tech fast enough or you can slowly add them in if you get some rifles early on to help you expo early.

Though i think that it used to work better in 1.13 than anything else. Hmm back to the drawing board.

Nah I never believe a MK or Naga as 1st is good. A hero like MK without brilliance?I tried it once buying mana all the time. even for 2v2 isnt so good.

try it again but use storm bolt and bash instead of storm bolt with clap. trust me its okay if you have enough sorcs casting slow.

MK is in the same boat as all other strength heros, so dont compain u dont have unlimited mana. a MK first insures u have a level 3 bolt and level 2 bash by level 5. Strength heros should never get more than 2 casting spells anyways, so bolt is a good hero killer, especaly with rifles that do insnae damage in numbers.

As for NE, u say rifles versus dryads and MG and bears. considering bears are tier 3, im sure the human would have some better units to let the ne get there. rifles own hunts nad dryads with morter support and with MK and pally. casters should never be used agaisnt dryads with bears. its stupid to use casters agaisnt an autocast dispel. instead Knights should be used for ebars, and ignore the MG. if they taunt take ur untis and reorder them to attack.
