| cannon towers???? ok what the hell is the point of cannon towers. they hurt own buildings and units, slow rate of fire, and not that great of damage for such draw backs. i mean chims have splash damage but at least they do good damage. :scary

| cannon towers are great for guarding expos because by then you have a workshop (unless you are secksi like Ed and go fast expo) and you dont have many building to "friendly fire". another advantage is that it is siege damage meaning that it blows up unarmored units and light armored (gg hunts and casters) and i think they have the best amount of damage out of the three to normal units.
you might be concerned about the friendly fire drawback but even if you pound away at your base with it, the splash damage is little to insignificant to be much of a problem (10-15 damage tops) plus i think that they do less damage to allied units.

| Ever seen a bunch of Cannon Towers taking out an Avatar before?
It's the mother of all Towers, but then the God of Towers is the Spirit Tower. >_<
Very strong and versatile though.

| man the human towers are soo weak...it very annoying...You can blow on a spirit tower and it will fall. I know that you should cover it with farms...but ranged units can easily take them out. I do fiind them effective only at the beginning of games!!

| i always have around 2-3 towers in my main base (1 arcane, 1 guard tower usually) and like 2 towers in my expo (1-2 guard mebbe 1 cannon) just to slow them down so i get time to come back to my base.

| One arcane tower is a must.
It prevents single hero rushes and counterrushes as well. |

| yup the arcane tower is useful only at rushes...The guard tower can be used to slow down attacks on ur expo but they are expensive and easily fall unless you repair them. So basically human towers are only good at the beginning. And i have never seen a human player upgrade to cannon towers...not once. .gif)

| It's very effective against Blade Master. Otherwise with the mana burn it can stop any harasses. Most of them come to cast AOE spells on peasants and you know how much mana is burnt for one strike |

| yeah that is very true... 1 strategically placed arcane tower is all you need to stop a gay, annoying, cheesy AM + ZEPPLIN rush.... .gif)
