| file formate for replays? ok i am new to the whole replay thing. what do i use to convert the files or do i get a players that can run the files?
i am lost

| The replay files are .rep. They can only be runned as long as the player has that map and moves it to the replay folder.

| Replays have .w3g format. They are stored in the replay folder. Just click View Replay from Single player and you can watch the replays. After each game in the highscores, you can save the repay. Last Replay auto appears after each game played. |

| Replays arn't video files. It is an ingenious method using Warcraft III to recreate every single moment of a match by a simple list of instruction on every action in the game. Keeps file sizes insanely small.

| There are programs like Camtasia that will help you RECORD replays into another format.
