how to host?

Dear person who reads this,

Can someone please axpain to me how i can host a game on Battle.net? Because i've been on like 15 forums in the last 3 months ... And can not find any threads that tell me what i have to change or do to host a game. And no i'm not a retard i know you have to press the button 'Create game'. But when i host the game no1 joins into my game ... I've waited like 30 minutes and i had no messages of people entering or leaving ... So can someone please explain?

P.S.: i'm a mac user so please keep that in mind don't have Windows xD

Re: how to host?

You need to play a lot with the firewall.

Inside Mac Games Forum > Warcraft 3 & Leopard, hosting on Battlenet

macosxhints.com - 10.5: Use a custom firewall in 10.5 with ipfw linked by someone 'teflon' there

Re: how to host?

use PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall its a good site for people who dont understand how to do settings on there modem hope this helps you solve ur problem. make sure you port forward the port range 6119-6112 for hosting as thats the ports wc3 uses. you can edit the exsact one you use ingame in the settings.
