Converting

Is there a converter that converts regular mp3's into the files that warcraft uses? it would be awesome to have my map have some floyd =)

You don't have to change it at all man.

Go to Module > Sound Editor

Then File > Import Sound

Import your music then make a trigger to have it play throughout the map. I imagine the map will take a long ass time to load but not much you can do about that.

Don't you need WAV files? ...

Go to http://www.download.com, and look for a program called 'jetAudio'. Does a lovely job of converting any sound format to any other if possible. Pity it's 14MB+ and is rather unstable at times.*

yea ur right star.. i uploaded an mpeg file or sumtin and it worked fine...
so i guess i dont need a converter.. i thought in old versions of editor u did need one.. would a song cause lag throughout the game? or would it just take long to load? thx

Long load. No lag. (atleast that's the case for starcraft) Hopefully I've helped.

And x42 I thought that it only took .wav's aswell but before giving advice I decided to check up on it. Apparently it accepts other media formats.
