10 hard Map questions...

1) How do u keep on choping on a tree w/o killing it? i tried everything i know... I gave the tree 9999 life, and also added a trigger that goes something likes this

Events: Time: every 1.00 second of the game (periodical even)

No Conditions...

Action:
Destructibles - Set max life of " tree " 0006 <gen> to 100.00

I made a trigger that restores my trees life to 100% after every 1 second of the game, but its not working... the trees gets choped down no matter what...

2) how do i make an item that has a tome ability (strg,agil,intil,life), but when i pick it up it doesnt the hero doesnt use it automatcily, so he can sell it to other people or give it away. I managed to, like.... not make it automaticly, but when a non hero picks it up cuz the unit has an inventory, the non hero unit is able to use the tome even thou he aint a hero... and when he does wc3 crashes....

3) how do u make a trigger for every full day u have an amount of units u get an amount of gold? and if the amount of units increases the amount of gold increase...

4) I made a village map, that means there r no brick walls to act as barriers or like walls... so i cant add gates destructibles, cuz there r no brick wall cliffs... what other thing can act as a brick wall? i dont want grass/dirt cliffs... becuase am trying to make a town square, or like a markey place. Becuase i want the marker to close at night.

5) how do u make a trigger that causes aplayer units/buildings become another player after he steps into a region.?

6) How do u make a trigger that will slow down time i tried everything but time still goes the same...?

7) how do u make a trigger that sets random wheater? sunny/ rainy/ stormy. ect.

8) how do u make a trigger to randomly to cuase any player's unit to die

9) how many trees can a medium map hold? or in other words how many Destructibles can a medium map hold...?

10) THanx in advance to the eleet map maker who helps me :loopy

6000 and some is the doodad limit which includes trees briges and that crap

wow nobody can help me with these triggers? Icedragon ty for the doodad info ^^ pls i need help on the triggers, its all i need to complete my map soon to be realesed pls!!!

1) I can't remember how I did this..... I seriously did this, but I forgot.

2) Object Editor > Go to item > One of the properties is something like 'Uses Automatically' or something, make that false

3) Make a trigger for each day, and then use a trigger Unit Owned by Player Event, and when a unit dies for that player, turn that cash trigger off.

4) Rock Chunks? There are some Cityscape Doodads that might work, too.

5) Event - Unit enters Region
Action - Unit - Change Owner
...

6) ... I forgot this one. Can you change Game Speed via an Action invoking Gameplay Constants?

7) ... I believe the Map Properties has something here. If not, you'll need a random integer and lots of If... Then... Else... Endif Actions.

8) I'll need more info. A random player's random unit, or single player's random unit, including buildings, etc.

9) I can't remember, but go to the Object Manager and the maximum Doodads will be on there somewhere.

10) I am noob.*

1) i cant' rember this but..... I seriously did this, but I forgot.

PLS PLS PLS TRY TO REMBER THIS IS THE KEY TO ONE OF THE PLAYER WHOLE POINT OF EXISTENCE

i already am able to equip the unit with the item w/o having it use it auto, but the problem is that even a non hero unit can use it, and then it crashes my game...

or you could be lame as hell like me and use worldedit unlimited and have no limit on anything almost

1) The trees..... I think I'll see how DotA works with this. You should try unprotecting it (FOR YOUR OWN USE DAMNIT) and looking at what trigger DotA uses.

2) Are you sure the unit involved does not have the ability Inventory? If not, check that you don't have an upgrade like Backpack that allows units to hold inventory.

7) Blah, this will take some time for me to think of this without making the game lag like hell.
