Too general of a topic... I'd be rather suprised if anyone posted anything that "helped" you... if you encounter a specific problem in a map you are developing, we can help you fix it

Step by step how to change a heroes abilities:

1) Open the wc3 editor, and open your map
2) Open the object editor (don't tell me you can't do this)
3) Go into the unit section and press ctrl+f, use this to find the hero you wish to edit (search by name).
4) In that hero, go to the top, there is a section called "Abilities" (not default ability), double click this, you can now change the hero's abilities using the following:

Remove (delete)
Add (max of 5 abilities per hero)
Edit (edit an ability the hero already has, just for changing what the ability is, not the properties of the ability)

5) Save your map

You shouldn't really be asking questions that revolve around a vortex of questions and answers. Narrow your topic and you should be fine.

Actually its 6. If you get a skill like an ultimate at the last level. It overwrites the Hero Point icon and puts your skill there.
