I need items like when u get it it apperes out side of the unit like on....i cant think of a map right now but... i need to know how to do it

It's in the item editor (object editor), there's something probably like "item animation" that you can change to what you want.

Or just use a trigger to attach a special effect to a unit (you can attach to positions like overhead, etc, someone has the full list somewhere)

The item has somewhere in it an "animation" for it, make the animation the orb thing.

Animation - Frost attack bonus (frost orb)
Attachment point: Weapon

All animations on Caster, Target and Buffs need attachment points. The default is origin which appears in the center of the ground!

Well, you give it a Buff, then edit the Buff to make the swirly orb! So you are half right
