Armor Reduction Aura

Is there such a thing? I would like to create an aura like devotion aura that reduces armor rather than increases it. Something similar to faerie fire, but that acts like an aura and not as a targeted spell? This sounds like something that should be straightforward, but I can't find a base ability to start with.

just an idea but maybe make it so the aura only targets enemy units and gives -2 or whatever armor you want it to take from the unit.

the new footman frenzy 3.4 has a hero with such a aura

my friend (who is very good with units) just told me that u have to set the stats from the aura to "minus" like -4

Thanks for the input. I did try to set the parameter for the devotion aura to a negative number, but was not able to get it to accept negatives. I will look for footmen 3.4 and see if I can find that in there - thanks for the lead.
