Wandering Creeps

Just wondering about the best way to do this. I've tried several things already, including periodic events which select every unit of a type and gives a petrol order within a region. I quickly realized that this severely lags, and then freezes up the game in just a few minutes (memory leak, I guess?). And the wander abilty seems to make creeps very timid, plus it doesn't realy give much wandering area. So I'm looking for reliable alternitives. Any ideas? Really apreaciate it.

Try this:

event: Unit - unit issued order with no target

condition: (Order) equal to ()

[the order is blank]

action: unit - issue (ordered unit) to move to a random point (within position of ordered unit)

So... should a periodic event issue an order with no target to the creep? If so, why not just make a periodic event to issue the move order? Thus doing it all with one trigger.

This is my first big project with triggers, so sorry for my trigger-illiterate-ness. I just don't quite get how to use the trigger you posted. Also, why is the order left blank?

No... it's not perodic... It's based on the event for Issued Order
