Editing Ability Effects

Hi all, please bear with me. I'm not completely experienced with the world editor, but I know enough.

I tried creating a spell which, in effect, is a mass entangling spell that also casted cripple on level 3.

-The entangling effect worked, although the animation did not

-There was only one entangle, I assume that can't be altered?

-Neither the effort nor the animation of Doom was initiated, however if you hover over the unit it DOES say that it is under the effects of "Cripple", but it doesn't show any decrease in damage or speed.

What was your base spell?

The base spell you should use is..... I think Flamestrike, then pile on Buffs Entangling Roots and Cripple, and remove the Flamestrike Buff.

But placing multiple buffs isn't easy. *

Yeah, how would you add buffs to a unit?

My 'solution' is to spawn a unit with Locust (to make it unselectable) with an ability to make that buff, with 0 damage. Is there a better method?*

thats in idea make it summon 2 units that cast the sperate spells then just kill them after they are casted like set there time limit to 2 seconds give them just enough mana to cast the spell then set their mana regen to 0 thats what i would do.

U can set these thru Area of Effect. You will need to make a trigger spell to add the cripple onto its effects.
