Omg this is annoying me. I dont change any settings and still the hero only goes to lvl 5 and doesnt gain any more levels. It just like pauses at level 5. uuuug

In FT, heroes don't gain experience above Level 5 while creeping.

I believe you can change that in Gameplay Constants.

I can:

Go up to advanced - gameplay constants - Hero XP Gained - Edit it and removed the 0, you can add like 40, 30, 20 to reduce the amount of XP they gain as they gain levels.

2) How do I allow heroes to gain experience from creeps past level 5?

From the main window, use Advanced->Gameplay Constants. Find the field called Hero XP Gained - Creep Reduction Table. Each number in this list corresponds to the percentage of experience the hero will gain from creeps at each level. To make heroes always gain full experience from creeps, set the list to have a single entry of "100".
