Quests & Victory

1. How do I change the quests thing? In the upper left corner of the game when you play, how do I add things and stuff to it?

2. How do I make it so that when a certain unit in the game dies, the owner of the unit is defeated and is forced to leave?

3. (In sequel to 2) When your the only one left and you still have the unit, you win.

1. It's a trigger, Quests - Create OPTIONAL/REQUIRED Quest with the NAME and DISCRIPTION. <--- you will see that in the trigger editor its an action

2.
Event
A Unit Dies <---- its a generic event
Conditions
Unit-Type of dying unit is SUMTHING <--- its under Unit-Type
Action
Defeat - Owner of (triggering unit) with the Message DEFEAT!

3. I'm not sure what u mean by Sequel 2...maybe someoen else can help on that one

Eactly right, but don't forgfet about your other options. An easy way to figure this out is once you click on Actions, see the little drop-down menu that says -All? Well, click on it and select Quests and it will display everything you can do relating to quests.

Again, many options with this, so just experiment!

I can answer this.

You need to do a couple things. First, make sure that once a player is dead, he is defeated.

Events
Time - Periodic Event - Every 3.00 seconds of game time

Conditions
And, Multiple Conditions
Conditions
Player Slot Status Comparison - Player 2 (Blue) Equal to Has left the game
Player Slot Status Comparison - Player 3 (Teal) Equal to Has left the game
Player Slot Status Comparison - Player 4 (Purple) Equal to Has left the game
Player Slot Status Comparison - Player 5 (Yellow) Equal to Has left the game

Actions
Game - Victory - Victory Player 1 (Red) (Show Dialogs, Show Scores).

I would also recommend you reading through the tutorial/FAQ thread or reading my anouncement. I know it's long, but ther'es many good threads there.

I'm sure you could add onto the last trigger, but it'd involve many omre variables and other such things.

You see the problem with having a Victory for some players and a Defeat for othersin one trigger is that things clash and almost 99% of the time your trigger wil not work, or will cause more bugs then it should.

not always...the IF, THEN, ELSE trigger saves alot of space...and allows u to do alot of things in one trigger....although he is right u do need variables for alot of things too
