Simple Question

I'm new to map making and am currently making a custom game map. I set the Town Halls but it keeps on asking for the start position, but I already set the halls. How do I make it so it keeps the town halls I put?

One more question. How do I make cinematic scenes? Can someone give me a tutorial or point me toward one?

#1 just make the start region on top of the town hall for each player.

to bad that site is down so much u can find a better world editor there 2. it has more cinematic options. here is a start for you if site is down for couple of days.


event- (event, like time elapsed is 2 seconds)
actions- turn cinematic mode ON for all players

here u can do things u wanna do in cinematics.

transmission from unit. makes a unit talk (like in campaigns but no voices) with txt you want.
apply camera object makes the camera go to the one you specefied (and made in camera pallete)
and apply filter is that screen turns black,white, shows the panda or others. great stuff to use!
and to exit just turn off cinematic mode for all players (letterbox mode is same but cinematic mode sounds better )

Now, I don't see why people always say they can find 'better' world editors. Blizzard saw the problems that the BW editor had (Which those editors are better), and made it so you can do anything in the regular world editor with no need for extra edtiors.

That is if you have the TFT editor, if you're still using RoC I recommend usig an extra editor.

UMSWE SUCKS!!! i HATE IT!!....its triggers are different and if u try to open some maps after UMSWE they giv u a trigger error....its gay and they claim to be different...but i PREFER THE DEFAULT one MUCH BETTER

The normal editor is sufficient in every aspect except the cap on destructables and doodads.

the normal editor is the best ... i tryed another one but it suxx ... the normal = best u have all in 3d every trigger and all this stuff ... where is the problem with it?
