Basic Editor Help

Hello everyone, Im trying to learn the war 3 editor and right now im very much a newb at it. I very good at Starcraft Mapmaking so anything that can be related to Starcraft is good for me. Anyways for my questions

1. How do you make a computer player? I changed player 12 to computer in my map and moved him to a differant force. I also deleted the basic triggers. But when I host the game on b-net I have to select the player to be a computer.

2. I currently have a list of Missions for say that a friend gave me to try to do. Well anyways im trying to make a text message that says the players name. My question is does that only work on battle.net? or does it work if i use the Test option in the editor?

1)Something to force user settings or something.

2) Should work on BNET.

Cool Thanks X43bn6, I found it under "Fixed Player Settings" in the forces window.

2) Anyways I trying to display the name of the player in the game every 5 seconds. Is there any reason this trigger doesn't work.

Events:
-Time - Every 5 Seconds of game time.
Actions:
-Game - Display to (All Players) the text: (Name of (Triggering player))

3) Anyways I placed a rifle man for players 1-3 (human) and they all show up in the game even if the player isn't there. Is this another player setting or something or do i have to remove them with triggers?

Anyway, the event in your trigger seems fine, as does your second trigger. I'm not quite sure what the problem is, but I haven't cracked open my War3 editor for a couple months, so I'll get to that on Wednesday.

Thanks Electron i got that part now.

Ohh and to answer myself on 2 on the first post, when testing while not on Battlenet it list my name as "World Edit"
