| Disable most of the stuff in the View Options. Close all panels for fun. Don't build the large tree areas unless needed to, too many gaps and LAGGY!

| how to let the lag dissapear when i open the editor. i takes 30/45 seconds (forreal) to show the first menu with that sound :/

| I have 3,400+ doodads and it lags like @$#% when i place size 3 trees, !! nothing seems to fix it or even help |

| me2 i have LOADS of units and LOADS of triggers (only opening cinematic trigger takes him 5 seconds... i got 3 already )

| No one seems to have an answer... no matter who I ask they say they don't know how to fix doodad lag... theres maps with TONS and TONS of doodads and i'm 100% sure they didn't wait 1 hour to place the last 2 doodads in the map... |

| Its the fact that theres so many units on the editor. Its not something you can fix. THough some of it will go away if you disable info under the view options.

| Doodadlag is fine. It's the special effects and units that lag the bloody thing. Fire and storm effects are the worst. Those stupid Trolls somersaulting may be funny, but in masses it becomes crap.

Uhh no it definatly isn't... trying opening a protected map such as Diablo II RPG: Act I, or Legacies and try placing size 3 trees, you will be there for a LONG LONG LONG LONG time... I dunno how long but I know that I restarted my computer after about 5 minutes... They didn't wait 1 hour just to place some doodads LOL... |

| to make WE open faster without waiting like shit, go to map options or wherever and make it so when you open the WE it doesn't load a map
reopen WE and do it should take 1-10 seconds screen will be black so BAM just load your map

| apply them to triggers, it will help loading time same for the units

Uncheck Brushlist. It loads ALL of the Possible textures when WE starts.. that is... what... 20,000 images? |
