| Chocolate, my point is lots of people do have some sort of moral obligation not to rig maps. That's why there isn't ten versions of each map ever made on b.net.
Woopee fiftieth post!

Woopee fiftieth post! | yes...lots of people. I don't think that includes all. Some people wil unprotect, change one thing, and give themself credit.
Another thing... every map I've seen, no map has given credit to Blizzard. hmm...
-EDIT-
Why can't you upload more than one attachment a time? Or is it just that I don't know how..

| Given credit to Blizzard. For god sake they made the game it goes without saying that they owe it to Blizzard. They made the damn thing. Sheesh. You don't need to have it in there to know that people love Blizzard for making SC.

| BLah....(there are some people that don't know Blizzard made SC)
heh..this is funny. We went from unprotecting to Giving Credit. Let this thread live!! so mpq extractor can be downloaded instead of the thing...which must not be named.

| When I finish my next map i'll make the credist have a big nice 'THANK YOU BLIZZARD' in them.
About the unprotecter:
Anyone who has to unprotect a map, for any reason, is a worthless newbie in my eyes, don't speak about unprotecting in the ums forum please, do it in some shitty hacking forum somewhere else, where other newbies like you can be together.

| See? That's exactly the stereotype I'm against. Let's break down prejudice and what do we get? Pre-judge. Now, isn't that interesting? You're prejudging people because they have a program on their computer. Like I said, some people are responsible enough to have (and USE), the unprotector, and at the same time, not release any crap like rigged maps.

| Yeah, there is nothing wrong with having an unprotector in your hard drive.
It's only bad if you use it for the wrong purpose. And I think most people know what the wrong purpose is. |

| If you want to protect your map from being unprotected, use StarForge (the First one, not the second, but the second one might work, ask Heimdal). Anyway, if you wanna talk about different versions, look @ golem maps. The first ones weren't protected so now there's like 1000 different versions out.
Most newbs don't even make it look like its not edited. They give themselves like 4 golems with max health/dmg/armor, and win at the beginning. ATTENTION: Use Map Settings games do NOT count torwards your record. |

| Anyone knows they don't count. But yeah I can see why you'd put that up because I have played some Golem maps before where the guy just did that, and I was like "Where is the fun in that?". Kinda dumb of him/her/it, but anyways. And hey, Golem maps were never protected in the first place. And some of those are alot better then the originals. That is a good example of my analogy with stuff getting better over time.

| I don't trust NFC-Archn's version... someone should put the rightful author's name on that program too.

| ya, unprotecting maps you lost the unprotected version for is good. thats the only thing I have used mine for, and ive had it for a while.
Archn's version, though he stole it from heim, is safe to use and works. |

| All I wanted it for was to see how the people made units that 'attacked' and were not selectable, and cloaked.

| Okay, this is Starcraft, you know that, right? None of those hacks are unprotectors, and I don't think any of us want one. Did you mean to post in Diablo? Because none of those are unprotectors...?
