importing models with milkshape

Milkshape has some tools that allow you to import models from games such as Call of Duty, Unreal Tournament, Half-Life/CS, Jedi Knight and others. You know that not every game has a converter or released specs to do connections between modelling programs and the models from a game. However, Milkshape also has tools like 3D ASCII or text files. A 3D ASCII is also a text file and you can for example import such file into an already existing file, e.g if you want to transfer a model from one file to another (it's like copy and paste a model into your started new model to have both together e-.g you wanna paste an arm from another model to your model without an arm). So import/export ASCII or text are in fact the shape of these models in the state of a text. Since this technology is used and model files can e opened with Notepad, is there a way to make models from another game available for import (as texts or ascii or whatever) into Milkshape or any modelling program? I'm trying for example to import some models from empire earh that are .cem extension, unknown and there aren't any exporters to 3d programs file extension. I tried pasting all the text from a .cem model to a blank milkshape model but then it cannot open. If you understand, I'm trying to use the text data to import the shape of a model. Can this be done, any experts? Other than that there is only one program for that game that is used to decompress files so it is not like I can use it to find specs. If there are any people into this, it would be wayy helpful, then using the skins since that program can convert their textures to tga is easy, the problem is the model which shape cannot be imported so far. Then exporting to war3 is ofc piece of cake.
