| Making a new map, need some help Okay, so I'm trying to make this new map that is going to be called "Murloc Defense/Attack", and I've never made maps before, could someone help me out?
I plan on having the guys start out from the corner of the map where they pick a hero, they have a couple shops for some simple items, potions, and maybe a mercenary camp. They have 2 objectives, protect their base from being destroyed, and to destroy the murloc threat. Could you guys help me out with this? |

| Re: Making a new map, need some help First things first, nut out everything. Actually design your map before you even touch the map editor, otherwise you just stop midway just like everyone else.

| Re: Making a new map, need some help Create the units in the Unit Editor, then we'll go and talk about triggers. Go and poke around yourself - it's not something I can really guide you through - too many options.* |

| Re: Making a new map, need some help You don't understand what I'm asking, I'm asking for you guys to literally help me with the map, not guide me along.
I suck at just about everything except coming up with ideas and the units :o |

| Re: Making a new map, need some help Then it's best you ask questions. Regarding the Unit Editor: Each unit has about 50 options, which vary depending on the base unit. I am, unfortunately, not going to guide you through all of it - for good reason. Play around with the Unit Editor first and then ask questions, then we'll get down to triggers. I don't want to do it in reverse order because that is the worst way to create a map.* |

| Re: Making a new map, need some help No, I just need some help on it :o
A little guidance here and there.
I can't seem to find murlocs in the unit editor, and I'm using the stock world editor, any better editors? |

| Re: Making a new map, need some help Or just create new units using Murloc models.
