| Idea for BF Rpg... I'm thinkin about startin a BF Rpg where you start as a no named newb and select one of four circles of power, one for each major section (sc, d2, wc3, and general). After you kill some of the creep and go through the area, you fight the mods and staff member of each section. Once you beat all 4 sections you go on to fight the admins. Roach first (newest admin), cort (old admin but not as old as the final boss) Crookedfoot (oldest admin/owner of bf). Gimme some suggestions as to what tile/heros i should use for each.

-Trojan | Ah, sounds like the 10,000 or so RPGs I've heard of.
We tried something like this in the slightly-more-active-Starcraft-Use Map Settings forum and it failed.*

| I hoped that BF WC Map making team would succeed
but err you should make it an open rpg.. I doubt it will be popular tho. |

| I think Tower defence is best suited for Battleforums, but we are in the process of making one ourselves. |

| Well I aready got the map itself done including the starting heros locations.
I made it a game where you go into one of four circle of powers, after that, i'm goin to make a trigger to create creep depending on what circle was stepped on including color variations. and then you are put in a sub place with two shops, a fountain of health and mana also with a circle of power. After done there go into the next circle it transport you into a labirynth-like lair where you fight the creep and mods along the way and then at the end fight the staff member. A circle of power spawns after they die which brings you to the area with the 4 circle of powers. Repeat til all four are dead. After that a new circle spawns where you fight the global mods in a small arena next to the area with the two shops and such. After they are done, another circle will spawn. When it's stepped on, creep will spawn in the labirynth but instead of mods as sub bosses, mods will be normal creep and global mods will be the sub bosses. At the end of the maze, an admin will appear and you must kill him. The last admin you gotta kill will be with the other two you just killed. Staff members will replace normal creep and global mods will be stronger sub bosses than before.
That's the whole plot of my map basically.
My attachment contains the map layout. If I see this map used by anyone else I will personally go to your house and slice your dick in two. |

Bf sounds more like a tower defence in my opinion. |

| I much agree. A tower defense would be better. Unless you did something like Battleforums VS Blizzhackers. Then you could pick a side (globally vote to be one side of the other) then just make all the opponents the opposite team/forum. That'd work as a rpg, yet noobs vs admin/mod/staff that doesn't make much sense. Especially considering we rule with a iron fist. All hail roachie? Viva La crookedfoot. |
