The new patch 1.22

Well guys, what do you feel about the latest changes? did anyone tried the new patch on Westfall servers?

Didn't you see my previous post? Why don't you come to Westfall too, we can AT or do smth, I'm currently making Theroy both of us to play one account at the same time. Westfall I saw some good players from my country in Westfall, matched vs some of them, I match Germans, etc, it's like all realms are here, even it's like playing Northrend coz when I see some newbies, I say aha that's Loard or Azeroth and when I see some good players, e.g one German orc who owned me, like him I think 'Ahah players from Northrend;

I dont have a westfall account. And I would need to make a custom to modify the units and test it with players to find out for myself.

the patch is to test code changes not balance changes.

You mean like the auto save replay and the item cooldown bug?

The item cooldown bug was obvious. It kept track of the cooldown on the hero, not on the item itself. ITs easy to remedy.

I play Westfall alright. I am ranked second .

No they like rewrote the game they add'd a bunch of code and changed **** that didn't need to be changed. The cooldown "bug" is not the problem for passing one item to one hero to another the bug they are talking about they fixed is the unlimited use of an item. Cool down on things like healing potion and healing scroll can be removed so you can have a hero use 4 healing scrolls with no cooldown it's a bug that's in 1.21.

Its not a bug, its how the cooldown engine was programmed.

The cooldown for an item was programmed by hero, not by teh item itself. Doing that remedies the problem.

No there's a bug in cooldown that lets u use items over and over again with no cool down you can spam healing scroll over and over again with one hero and no cool down same with owith healing potion and mana potion!! haven't sen it with other items yet.

In 1.22 you can no longer transfer a staff to a hero without cooldown. Cooldown remains even if you give item from hero 1 to hero 2. Sux.

Earlier they made it so that if you use a heal potion, there is cooldown if you want another item of the same type. This remains in 1.22, the same for healing scrolls - I've never been able to heal 2 times for a second with 1 hero and 2 scrolls. So I don't know what you're talking about.

I was gonna make some solo rank 10 or lower but for some time I can't play much. I wanted a new akk with better stats but they turnt out to be worse than the first acc.

I match people from my bgr channel, one of them I matched is ranked 2nd or 1st solo. It's nice to have good opponents, I get pissed off when I lose even from good players.

I matched an ud: Undeads don't use fiends, nice cause knights will kick their ass. I used griffs vs ground with fms and he owned them with gargs and dests even though I made tanks later... How can I save anything without a staff? Or if I go mass knights and no griffs, how can I save knigths with 1 staff tp !?

Towers are crap, try to save expand when attacked with this repairing.

Theroy, let's do one account on Westfall ... repeating for 10th time. Yes I'll lose but win as well, so I think I will be able to keep up the wins. I promise more wins ofc, many do it and that's a great idea to get rank #1. Meanwhile I'm giving you my Northrend account, double skill rules.

whaaaat? remove cools down?? but now we are back in what??? roc??? early days when u could have used pots on after the other.. come on thats imba alright.

and that 'bug' was a serious isue because transferring between heroes would remove the cooldown.

In 1.21 if you gave a staff fro hero1 to hero 2, 2nd hero didnt have cooldown. If you gave it from hero 2 back to hero 1, cooldown still remained on hero 1 as much as was needed.
Are you saying if you gave from hero 2 back to hero 1 he doesnt have a cooldown of 120 seconds or so but no cooldown? Coz 1.21 was never like that, you can transfer to a hero and 2nd hero has no cooldown but then both have cooldowns after using it. So I'm not following your point guys.

That was the biggest and most annoying exploit in Wc3, next to the items and Skull trick.

IN 1.21b U Can make items like how they were in ROC days.. by exploiting a bug.

I'm not complaining about the staff anymore because now the game is more interesting with requiring more micro skill - to move a way instead of teleport.

As for the 1.22 changes, seems like hu does the same as always even towers, nm repair is nerfed. And still griffs can be better than massing knights nm knights are buffed. Westfall sucks, there is no one there. I'm not playing it and I matched a stupid newbie ranked 1.

THE SKULL TRICK IS THE BUG! YOU CAN USE ITEMS OVER AND OVER AGAIN. U CAN SPAM HEALING SCROLL ON THE SAME HERO WITH OUT A COOL DOWN WHATS SO HARD TO FOLLOW. THE BUG BLIZZARD TALKS ABOUT FIXING IS THAT ONE. NOT THE PASS HERO TO HERO ONE THAT ONES NOT A BUG AS IT WAS LIKE THAT FOR LIKE FOUR PATCHES AND ONLY NOW THEY REALIZE IT"S AN IMBA SO THEY'RE FIXING THAT TOO.

The Item Pass is just an exploit of the cooldown effects of an item. The Skull of Blight thing is an actual bug.
The Item Pass bug is based off the cooldown of the heroes, and not the items. If you send the cooldown back to the item, it should have no trouble. Unless, you handle the consumable the same way. Then you basically did the Skull Blight trick without the skull.

I just tryed downloading the new patch 1.22 off azeroth, and now the game won't even start up, what went wrong? how do i fix it?
