Higher Res?

Is there a way to view the game at a higher res instead of the 1280x1024 block?

I don't think there is a possible way. Believe me, there are many that would want to take Diablo II or SC and make it 1024x768.

I've looked around everywhere for one for War3ft, and not much luck. I've begone to decompile the exe's and .dlls of war3 in search of a way to make a higher resolution. But i did find a higher resolution modification for D2 which raises the native screen from 800x640 to 1024x768 via a mod hack.

I run Diablo II in windows mode. I don't really see why I should get D2 1024x768 anyways.

Doubtful. It seems to be, unfortunately, hard-wired in.*

Possible, but you need to know what your doing, and why it only supports certain resolutions in the first place. I'm not going to get it into it, but it's not worth the time to try. Will be more of a headache than it's worth without the original coding.

Its really just a rendering issue. And at the time Diablo II was released and such, people were more around using 800x600 monitors. So they considered that as it's maximum.
