Hey guys i think it is an excellent idea although we never discussed this.

Some of you may know, i like custom games and mods like footmen wars - i play them when im bored or tired of bnet. I was thinking of this: is there a way to have this map or links are not allowed?

And how do you find it- will it replace the hacks forum and make new members come here instead of those hacksers who leave?

I think hackers will leave, but new members who only plays custom map will come here.

Either way, it's lose-lose situation, BF loses posters, because people just sign up for hacks, and BF will likely lost war3 hackers now.

And I love footmen wars too Because I own in it

I think it'd be cool if someone made a webpage with a collective amount of maps with constant updated versions but that is ALOT of work. Sites like those are hard to find though, trust me. o.O

Hehe, i tried with the naga cuz i like nagas but they teamed and owned me.I told them if i play human i'd win, and although i forgot that spell breakers can attack air on the mod, i pwned my friends- chims, aboms, grunts

Well, battleforums may be able to do that. If someone is willing enough to do it. Crooked was talking to me about setting up a War3 map archive, because starcraft "sort of" already has one. We would need a separate portal for that though.

It takes me about 20 seconds to load when i click "create game>download"

Yes i got hell lot of maps,

Thats not that many maps I used to have like 900 and something maps but then I deleted over half and now I am at 756 maps.

Has pretty much every map, but the forums are uber gay cause they are all nazis there. cant even say Crap without getting introuble

I dont play mauls, and I picked around 48 good 1337 and fun to play maps, which are sent to Aragorn at this moment

Dang.. auron lol thats alot of maps...

And since Jake gives us the link to that site.... we can pretty much just put the link in the sticky and deal with it (less uploading = less work = everyone's happy)

I only have 673, but like 300 are arkguil, 200 are arenas, versions .9beta through Version 197.86 Silver.

I have a ton of custom maps also. All different types from mauls, to skibi, to enfo, to arkuil, azote, tower wars, tower defence, footmen, nold, rpg's, random maps, evolves, zone control...etc you get the point. If someone helps me out, i'll get em all to battleforums.

I dont know if its possible in BF, but in Blizzardforums.net, we have downloading section, and Im wondering if we could make one in here, that way admins can upload the maps
