| cant get a hang of the game I bought Warcraft 3 battle chest 2 weeks ago, ive been playing this game every night for about 1 hour, I cant seem to win AT ALL!!! unless i put 3 comps on my team vs 1 easy comp lol.
I've searched on google for warcraft 3 sites but nothing much comes up, I was wondering if you guys know a site that has all the information like what the store items do what skills do, so I can read up on all this stuff,
Any help would be appriciated, Thanks

| It would be better if you found someone who would practice vs you, even if you lose you can still learn how to get better by losing. Learn to creep, what units to get, and how to micro and you can win some games. Just try to face a friend or someone that will help. For replays check www.wcreplays.com |

| WAIT!
I know the perfect solution to this
1. Take everything that was included in the battle chest
2. put everything back in
3. tape it together to make it look new
4. go back to the store you bought it at
5. give it to back to them, and get your money to buy a game you really want
OR
you can practice 1v1s on computer (easy), go look up strategies on the battle.net site (link above) and play the campaign. |

I've tried this already, they said due to the cd keys I can not return it, apparantly someones been going in and buying games and stealing the cd key's and returning the game!
As for the practice with friend, i dont have any friends that own warcraft, only starcraft and diablo 2

| I have been on a slip recently. Like when I go rifle and sorcs and try to go for an expo, I end up having only 13 rifleman 2 sorcs and the enemy has like 10 knights. I dunno whats up with me :fwink . It seems however, I win whenever I get an expo. Like if I get fiends and banshees, I get an expo:then I have like 20 fiends, 9 banshees, a pit lord and dreadlord. Its weird, just make lots of units and fast expo if you can. |

| Your best bet is to read Mojo's, in the link N_ posted, and learn the damage/armor type counter system, and watch replays. After that practice what you've seen. Its probably best to just pick one race and concentrate on them until you've gotten pretty good.

really, dont bother with repalys right now. what you really want to do is find someone like me to play with you. you dont necissarily have to know them, but if they are willing to spend time to teach you.
Also, I would like to know what gmaes u previously palyed, so I can get an Idea of what type of game u are getting off, and that can help determine why it is hard for you to adjust. |

| Play the campaign, I got better just by doing this and now I'm pretty good eventhough I have a 55% mostly due to 4v4 RTing and trying new stuff all the time. After beating the campaign I just played customs vs comp to get better and then moved to bnet playin 4v4. |

Learn the armor system, make useful units and hope that you do not die. |

| Play the campaign, learning hotkeys is very important. Try to learn what units work well together, what heroes work with what units, and how to counter certain strategies. Keeping your enemy on your toes really turns the game in your favour, try to keep the fight in their base not yours. |

| Some people forget the hotkeys right after they get the wells and altar going. The only hotkeys I can remember well are hero skills. For example, if you have a Pit Lord, you would use T to howl of terror (do this when units are near you to reduce damage) and D is for Doom. Some keys are straightfoward, others just awkward and annoying. |

you can practice 1v1s on computer (easy), go look up strategies on the battle.net site (link above) and play the campaign. | I've got a better list:
1) Put WC3 CD back into crystal case.
2) Put case (with CD) into garbage.
3) Find your StarCraft CD.
4) Beg it's forgiveness.
5) Get back on StarCraft so I can kick your ass.
You've got more dedication than me man. I got the game out of excitement too when all my friends had it. Played it for about a week straight, and came to find.
A) My graphics card could barely run the game with all the 3D shit (laptop, can't upgrade jack shiat)
B) I HATED hero system.
C) I really only enjoyed it for the customs.
