one time, i made a sn called, barbygirl101....people actually thought i was a girl and crap it was great.

so have any of you made misleading sn's or run into them?

I have met a whole bunch of guys impersonating girls on WC3. They usually play LOAP and then say their boobs are huge, and stuff like that. It's reallly sad if you ask me.

I seen a player named FemaleWinZ or something like that. And it was a 1v1 and I'm like a level higher then she is. When the match was done I was pwned. Coulda been a gosu who made a new account, forgot what they call that.

when i said barbygirl101 or whatever i said, that was a random name i used once, it was a team kill acct for one time. it was sexy tho. Do i secretly want to be a girl? no. do guys that play as sorceress' and amazons' want to secretly be a girl? what about guys that play mmo's that have a female character and name it something like lunarprincess or whatever? No.

MMO's have a male model for males..Female for females. It's kind of weird being a female if you're a male considering it doesn't impact growth or add bonuses except with the female model you have polygonal breasts. So i'll finalize onan opinionated 'yes.'

My friends on D2 used to make up chick names and chick names on accounts to get free shit. Was pretty funny too. On WC though, its unfair. You expect it to be some newbie girl and it turns out to be a gosu (most likely a guy) and he pwns you good. Then you feel bad about laughing.

Jenny, I think you're being a bit over-sensitive. Quite a bit, actually.

MMO's have both male and female avatars, and both sexes play both (though it's percentage-wise rarer for a female to play a male). There are a multitude of different reasons for the decisions. There are essays and papers dedicated to the study of why people do that, I won't get into that right now.

I've even done it once. Know why? Not because I have some secret desire to be female (though it'd be fun to try for a while) but because I'd heard tales of people giving female toons free stuff.

Often, people create names just because. It's fun to see the reactions of people who think you're a girl. Funny sometimes. Entertaining most of the time, and annoying some of the time.

How does he make it seem that being a female WC player is a joke?

Granted, most of the people who play WC3 are male. Hell, most game-players are male. And the mass majority of people (not just males) are stupid. Hence the mass majority of game-players/WC3 players are stupid. And it's fun to mess with the heads of stupid people. This is acomplished in more ways then creating a female name. The only difference is that a female name is constiant, and less insubstantial then a confusing and provoking conversation. Unless the replay is saved.

Edit: Might you perchance stop with the pink text please? It's rather difficult on the eyes, and makes one need to highlight it to read your post with efficiency. Especially on this green background.
