What should Cao Cao have done?(for my commie friend)

Since he is clearly the all knowing god of history, I ask this.

What should Cao Cao have done in order to secure the south?

Kessen is a great game.

Edited because I don't care. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that all your threads are referencing feudal PS2 games and you lack any kind of relevant information to go along with the very little you do say, and really offer nothing to discuss.

Coincidence

LOL your funny.....

If he knows anything about history he'd know what I was talking about.

You see theres this book, a very popular book I might add, that is called "Romance of the Three Kingdoms". This is based off the Three Kingdoms era. Now get this... the things it talks about really happened!!!!!!!!!! I was like OMFG!!!!!!! when I found this out.

There was this guy called Cao Cao, he sought to control all of China, well after the yellow turbans rebelled he saw his chance. He managed to slay the yellow turbans and became a hero. With the Han crumbling he once again saw his chance to rise to power...

Just read the damn book you ****ing idiot....

If you plan on attempting to belittle my intellegence, do so with relevent information.

You know who's an idiot? Someone who would post this:

Like I said, no relevant information, no personal opinion, nothing to discuss, no background information, nothing. I know what the game is based off of, but the fact you seem to know nothing about anything you post leads me to believe you play too many PS2 games. This is far from AS material.

Who's your 'commie friend'. If it's someone you nkow in real life just tell them, otherwise this isn't needed.

Kuzmich.

One answer would be he should have had an experienced navy when he attacked the Shu-Han and Wu. It was 830,000(Wei) vs 50,000(Shu and Wu). Wu had an expert navy, and Shu had Zhuge Liang. Cao Cao lost and it would prove to be his last chance to beat both Shu and Wu.

His commie friend is Otmorozok. He is trying to prove his intelligence after Kuzmich won the little arguement they had in the WW2 thread. Although asking a question about a specific person in history he learned from a video game isn't a good topic starter or either any sort of evidence to Kuzmich that you know jack shit.

Cao Cao should have just stayed away. Bigger numbers do not mean higher chance of victory, in war, be it modern or ancient, it's all about strategy.

I don't know anything about Cao Cao, congratulations Ashigaru you read a book that i didn't read. However, that does not interfere with the fact that i know more about history of human kind then you do. You do not know a single thing about Levon Wars, Kievan Rus, i probably even know more then you do about your nation's history. Who's navy was sent out to American borders in order to give the British and the French a message: "Do not help the Confederates in the American civil war or else". Heh, what about the Roman Empire. What was the name of the emperor who made his horse a member of the senate? This thread is pointless, yes you know something i don't, good for you, but that doesn't mean a thing.

Kuzmich, he didnt read a book he got his 'info' from a video game. You notice he only asks a question and only gives a very vague description when asked to later. He knows about as much about this as a doormat knows about the history of refrigerator magnets.

Ashigaru, I think you should read the rules of this forum. They are stickied on top of the page, but here's the links for your convinience.

http://battleforums.com/showthread.php?t=37222

http://battleforums.com/showthread.php?t=13397

And here's why your topic isn't suitable for the AS : You failed to give enough information for us to be able to discuss the subject. Maybe if you wanted to talk about something that everyone had basic knowledge of, but Cao Cao is somewhat of an unknown historical figure to us, from an obscure period of time, from a country most of us do not have any informations prior to 1940. So unless you bother to write a decent topic, I'm will be forced to void this. Sorry mate :P

The Nature of Discussion
Your posts should do at least one of the following:

1) Make claims (i.e. argue a certain point of view), which should be backed up by evidence
2) Question the evidence (or lack thereof) from an earlier post in the thread
3) Introduce the topic (if you've started a new thread)
Now, I'm not saying that the subject is bad, on the contrary. The fact that most of us know nothing of it is one more reason for you do make your topic. Its going to be educational. Your just going to have to present it is a proper fashion.

Cao Cao died of a brain tumor. Yup that was in the game. Yup the numbers in the game are 100% accurate as well. I can only assume I know the book has a little over a 1000 pages because the game says so...

You my friend are a complete idiot.

The info in the game is far from accurate as well. I could give specifics but I have no desire to.

I have played a game where you kill Cao Cao. I killed him. So he didn't die to a brain tumor he died to a big spear.

It's pretty far from accurate. I put it on easy and all these silly chinese sat there and stared at me while I beat the shit out of them.
