| Ok I know ya dont support these...
But just a questions I have noticed a lot of forums/sites etc say they dont support Free Servers...I didnt think that was possible...I mean to emulate a WoW server would take so much computer power wouldnt it?
If this isnt allowed sorry just take it out. |

| awhile ago blizz was hacked and some people stole the server files now i think they just extract the bug fix's from the patchs to stay updated

| "Public" servers also have substantially less players on them.

| Well, private servers require about 2-3 boxes to run a stable amount of people. Dual xeon 2.4's at the least. WoW private servers are shit, they can just basically emulate them. No quests, no NPC's, no mobs. Blizz is kinda pissed bout them too, so they shut down some of the major emu projects.

| why would you want one, the ones blizz set up are fine IMO
what are pros to playing on someone's private server?

| Oh, the monthly fees are gone, thats cool. Do some of the servers change quest/alter the game or is it the same(like mod servers for d2)
