It still shouldn't be closed. As a matter of fact, I want it to be discussed more, because I still think that it is one of the best reads we have to offer in CC.
As for him posting this to get people pissy to leave him alone, I would agree with that. But I know for a fact that he sold this site for profit. I've followed his work ever since I became a vB liscense holder and read up on his Archive hack, which was a staple in the vB2 era. Now he has some IList directory site that charges 10 bucks a name and has thousands. And you say this man isn't interested in a little money...
The only reason he kept the site for as long as he did was for promotional purposes. I respect Adam for his work, his attitude and personality, but I DO NOT respect him as an administrator.
I say one thing and you go and bump the whole thread. Good job.
