My computer has imploded upon me

My 3DS Max 4 got corrupted, I thought, so I attempted to repair it, so it removed all the important files, then asked for the CD to restore..... AND THE CD DIDN'T WORK.....

Then my Frozen Throne stopped working too, but I got blue screens, so I reinstalled DirectX8.1..... THAT WORKED, and so did my Max without any files..... So I just wasted an entire lifetime fixing something and doing something else.....

My Frozen Throne got corrupted again..... So I reinstalled the entire thing..... Now all it does is crash every minute..... IF I can get it started up..... I can't find Max 4 or Max 5 anywhere, only Max 6, and I have Windows 98SE..... *sob* Now my Diablo II is screwing up on me..... And now my Firefox killed my profile and now I have to start Adblocking ads and getting my bookmarks back..... *sob*..... I HATE YOU*
