| most people dont understand.. or dont want to.. or dont want to read into it completely.. this starts at the very beggining and tells you step-by-step exactly what u need to do.. complete with links to the step u should be at (reason for posting several times) its the same basic info in an easy to read format.. look at my first question in the f.a.q

| The reason he did seperate steps was so that he could make the links to the steps. I don't think this is double posting because each post is very succifient size. It's not like one post says: I like mephisto better
then the next post says:
then pindle. |

| its intended for people that just cant get it.. sort of a "easiest possible way to explain it" type thing, so yes it was so i could make links to the steps -- which in turn allowed me to make it much easier to follow for a person that has never even touched a bot.

| Damn guys... I think he did an awesome job. He wrote it in the same format as "Ultimate Hacking FAQ" or whatever, and that got praised up and down.
I think all the posts that are not part of the guide should be voided, thread closed, and stickied. I think this post will really help out a lot of people. Sure, lotta peps are still going to post questions before lookin at the stickies, but this is a VERY easy to understand guide. Refer them here.
If they still dont understand after reading this post, they are either too young, or too damn lazy and want you to come to thier house and set it up for them.
Two thumbs up, Balbanes. Great job.
To everyone else, dont flame him! Hes trying to help!

| you firget that all this has allready been written by some other guys (including me for the cd key refilling part and so on)
the ultimate faq was created long time ago and is unique becoz no one else wrote it before ... if you would read all the posts of the last 7 sites u will find all the answers u want and need to configure ur d2jsp succesfully ...
and btw : i created a characterconfig.exe tutorial with everything u needed to run the program and easily change ur jsp scripts . u know what happened ? voided! |

| Thats weak... why not sticky these usefull threads? Are the mods really that hungry for something to do? Replying with the same thing over and over gets old. Would be much more efficiant to post a url. Hell, make a forum for just FAQs and guides. Name it "The answers to all your problems."
Im just brainstorming here, but when someone like you goes completely out of their way to write a good guide for the purpose of helping others, it should be recognized. Not ignored, and definantly not voided.
I say "Boo" the mod that did this! BOOOOOO!!

Second -- if the mods dont want to sticky something like this, (which i didnt think they would) just keep the url and when someone asks a question that can be answered by my guide/faq paste the url in there... that's why i put the links in my sig.
oh.. and one more thing radix.. i administrate some vb forums... so i KNOW what i'm doing.
edit: coolmission, just how many people that are 13 yrs old or younger, and have never used a bot - or known anyone that has used a bot before. could understand how to bot/multibot with that sticky? Obviously none of them or we wouldnt have so many people posting questions that are answered in that sticky... (which is the point of this guide)

Ive read that sticky before, and its helped me out a few times. But I have some botting experience from another game, and I took a little bit of C++ in college. But for people that have never used a bot, and have no C++ experience at all, that guide is not as usefull as Balbanes is. Balbanes is explained it its most simplest form. If you still cant get it working after reading his guide, then you shouldnt be botting.

| yes i know , we could add parts from his tut into the faq but we cant sticky the whole thing coz :
why u think we made a new thread for all the jsp tuts ? to clean up the section .
balb's tut is complete and easy to understand and i appreciate his work but we cant sticky the whole thing. as i said i can ask a mod to add some really interesting things to the faq.
hope this is discussion is over now and it can be closed for the main purpose :
Learning how to bot
thanks a lot

| ferd, thanks for sticking up for me, and i didnt expect the mods to actually sticky this, (considering how useful it is). So i'm just keeping the url handy so that i can give it to people that need it, since no one seems to use the stickies.

| seems like you didnt correctly configure the pwnsettings.d2l file, open it up and double check that, also what version of d2jsp are you using?
