| That's not even close to a flame. I don't even know why you would think I want to mod this shit if I already said I'm leaving it.
And no, tass is not an expert, and IMO he is an extreamly immature mod.
After reading 2 posts by tass I saw this (posted by tass): Quote: |
Make a 2x2 location, make a trigger for a player, that tells it to center on ANY building, if it sees 2 buildings inside the location, remove them. (This WILL actually work, there is no biulding smaller then 2x2, so the only way of having 2 inside this location would be to stack.)
| Locations don't cycle, they move from lower left upwards, and center on the first unit in their path, the buildings would have to move for it to cycle... duh .
Oh look this too Quote:
player 1
---
player kills 10 air units
---
give 10 vespene
set kills of unit to 0
player 1
---
player kills 10 groundunits
---
give 10 minerals
set kills of unit to 0
| Uh huh...
Too bad I can't find the "duh" thread, I remember he messed up stuff in there too.
Whatever.

(since knowing the same thing twice doens't help lol)
Also the two examples Macman posted are both correct. Although he didn't explain the second one but thats because there is no trigger to set kills so he decided to be rude about it. Anyways I would agree that tassadar isn't a expert but i don't hold it agained him. (If i did i would be mean like mac man) Tassadar isn't a newb ither and he has improved since he has come to this forum. I havn't seen many reasons to belive Master Virus or Frit Frat are newbs, they are both good, I guess there experts. | He's actually pretty active. Anyone mind giving me a rating on how good I am at map making? I just want to know. 1-10.
1 = worst
10 = awesome
I'm guessing I'm somewhere around 3. Heh.

| I would rate my self as a...I dunno...a 2 maybe...I am not THAT pro at map making.
Question: Macman, why do you have to be an asshole 24-7?

| Being a mod of Sc UMS Is far beyond the point of being a good map maker.
Macman may have a lot of knowledge on map making but how many times does he post here, how many times has he helped people, how many times has he told people to stop double posting, spaming and stuff like that.
If you know the basics of map making, I'd say that's good enough to be a mod. |

| I being a good mapmaker is a small consideration when choosing a mod. Or apparently something about me makes me unsuitable in the authority figures eyes here. |

| I'd like to see a mod here like Bolt Head because:
A) He is on When most people are on
B) He obviously knows a hell of alot when it comes to Maps.
C) His clan ( (U) ) Could always help if something stumps even him. (Yes? No?)

| I could give you the reasons why he can't be a mod but You'd have to pm me asking me to give them to you. I cannot say them in public. |

| How did this thread end up in Use Map Settings?
Well, I wouldn't be a mod, yet. I am not known by many people on this forum. I find it a popularity thing! |

| I know you. You're active in the Starcraft Broodwar section. Actually, it's not that much of a popularity thing, hardly anyone knew me when I became a mod, and now I think I'm well known, but only because I became a moderator.

| Funny you should ask that, I'm one of the most mellow people I know, but I only get pissed when something pisses me off, and SC just happened to do that.
...I just thought of a way I could graph parabolic functions on a map, I might stick around long enough to work it out.
