Also, you guys won't ever get anything done around here. You've been posting threads about whats changing, what you want, what we want, and yet you take most of what we say with a grain of salt and just do whatever you want to do.

Many, many multiple people on these forums (in fact, I can't think of one person who objects) want some form of a Music forum, and when we bring it up you just say "well I'll try my best" or some other bull**** like that. It takes 15 seconds to make a subforum. I've done it before, it's not that hard. Go into your admin CP, click the "add forum" button, and boom, you're essentially done. Same thing with a comic forum. I proposed openly that we have both of those, and yet nothing has come of it.

Chris and others say "well take it up with Kinkarso" and that he'll do it. Guess what, I'm not going to do it. I doubt anyone else will either. I've posted it on the forums, I've gotten people to back me up and say that they would activly participate in it. Hell, I've even given you some of the idea's I was planning for a music forum in my own threads. Did anything happen? No.

Is anything ever going to happen on these forums? No.

Good luck in life to whoever else is still around that I respect, but that number has dwindled to so few that it hardly seems worth it to post this thread.

I'm not crying about not getting my little forum, I'm just telling them that they asked what we wanted, we told them, and they didn't deliver. And you're objecting to a music forum which would keep at least most of our current base amused for a month at least?

I swear, you guys wonder why BF is going down the ****ter? It's cause when someone tries to get something done or tries to let the admins know that we told them what they wanted and they still havn't done jack **** about it, you just go off.

Now I have to agree. I really haven't been very active around the forums, but that doesn't mean I'm sitting on my ass watching power puff girls all day.

2 things:

1) I needed a mod to moderate the music forum, and handle the rules, etc before I could create it. You were banned at that time because of infractions. If you're still up for it, the position is still available.

2) Although it may not look like it, I really am spending hours working on battleforums.com each day. It just doesn't get done overnight I guess.

Anyway, adding a music forum with our current activity level is nearly pointless. Almost every forum is incredibly slow, populating it with even more forums isn't really going to help. But if you're going to do it, do it.

I didn't say it was when you were an admin, now did I? And also, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I tell you that I'd deliberatly destroy the forums if you ever gave me anything higher than a mod position -- which you then assured me wouldn't happen so long as you were admin -- and within the month of that you promoted me to Starcraft Staff? Cause that sure is the way I remember it.

I mean sure, I may have left out details like Eric vouching for me and what not, but the fact is when someone tells you "hey buddy, when you give me more power than a mod, I'm going to abuse it and I'm going to hurt the forums with it" you should take it serious.

But then again, you never did stand out to be one of the brightest crayons. You were always more of a teal. Not quiet an idiot, but also not quiet on my level. Don't feel bad though, there arn't that many people around that are on my level

Yeah, except for the fact that pretty much everyone on the forum that posts thinks that a music section would be cool and would post, so...

As for your "valid points" Roach, which? That theres no activity on the forums, so opening a new forum to promote discussion of music is a bad idea? How does that make sense at all, expecially since the music forums have never really failed on this site, and have always just been merged back in with CC for whatever reason (which coincedentally nulls just about all talk about music with the exception of the +1 now playing threads.)

Valid point as in, the forum doesn't draw in enough activity to warrant the opening of new forums. Well, you CAN open them, but they'll look as dead as the rest.

I'm not saying it will fail, it might not. But it might be a good idea to work on the dead forum issue first, before adding more.
