Re: X42bn6

Define one quantity, one quantity meaning x over x? You also obviously do not know what integral means.

Except it's not. You assumed some precedence that your wording doesn't convey. As you stated it, the problem is

The integral of (x/x^2+1)^3 WRT x from x = - Infinity to x = Infinity.
Quote:
x over x squared plus one quantity cubed
The answer to you problem doesn't converge. Idiot.

You intended it to be
x/(x^2+1)^3,
or
x over the cube of the quantity x squared plus 1.

If you intend to use parentheses in your problem, then you should use them in the problem statement.

No, they don't, Eric has some malformed idea that he is a boy wonder, and the fact the he adminned and owned battleforums at such a young age causes him to believe he is some kind of intellectual, and not just some prick whose parents happen to have a lot of dough. Which he is.

Incorrect. The problem as he intended it does indeed give 0. He just doesn't know how to speak math, because he's a moron who just got to the section on improper integrals in his high school calc class, so he thinks he's hot ****.

I've never even taken calculus. It was one calculus problem I knew the answer to. I like how MacMan and half the other people in this thread turn into mister serious and got angry about a math problem.
