DL issues

I always enter games on Starcraft and the DL hardly ever begins for me, if it does it takes like 5 minutes to get it started. I have cable internet and a computer that can run sc, can someone help a brother out?

Maybe it's your router? Either that, ior the people you download from haven't upgraded from their 56k modens yet. Usually, a problem with downloading a map is because the person you're getting it from has crappy internet or a poor connection.

You could download maps from the internet. Starcraft.org, and sites that host maps, and then put them in your folder, and just start being the map creator. Or you could set yourself outside of your router's firewall, while your playing games. You'd have to look at your router's instruction manual for that option.
