| Protoss Money Maps :( From time to time, my friends force me to play on fastest possible map ever.
The funny thing is, I find myself losing more then winning.
I think I am just missing the general idea of money maps. How should a Protoss player play on a money map?

| Unless the opponent is zerg, then I don't have a clue. Because vs zerg you can just zealot rush until he/she folds and if you're ballsy, you can even proxy gate zeal rush with a probe or 2 for shield batteries. This mu works the same way it does on non-money maps except toss has the advantage.(i.e. p>>z)
pvt will be a bit harder on this map, though.

| Dragoon Zealot mix with an archon every 6-8 zealots. I usually go 2:1 or 3:2 dragoon being the higher number.
Then bulid corsairs and disruption web for anti-tank.
Remember to build like 15 gateways because you're going to have a hell of a lot of money.

| Ah.. So you just mass the hell out of them, huh
Alright, I tried mass zeolots a couple times which works great as long as the enemy is Zerg and you hit them earily enough.
Goons/Zeolots/Archons work pretty good with everything.
I did not even try mass carriers.. They would get slaughterd pretty dang fast by anyone with a brain..
The problem I have now is expansion. Is it worth it on money maps, or do I just block in one of my bases? Also, does it really matter how far away my second base is?
Thanks for the help, I beat my friends several times

| On BGH, expanding once or twice can be fine just don't get too many probes. You gonna need the psi for real units. Expanding on Fastest, well, not sure if you really need to. If you decide to, be sure to expand as far away from the enemy as you can.
Glad we helped.

wall yourself in with literally HUNDREDS of cannons, then mass carriers
that what i do

Let's say you're up against terran, then this would be a good way to go because it'll take a while for him to push and you can set up a good flank against him.(always a good thing)
In fact, that's what you should do.
Make some gateways in another main(well, they're all mains, but you know what I mean) and just outmass him.
