zerg vs my friend's strats

I just make hatches and hydras.
my friend doesn't know how 2 use zerg so he's terran and protoss. game rule is nr 20

Terran: bc

Protoss: carriers or scouts and goons.

think my hyra mass will stand a chance? i'm not worried much bout his goon/scouts carriers just get overrun eventually since i just let my hydras shoot the intercepts but the bcs i'm worried about cause i've never played my hydras agaisnt bc b4. btw sc original not bw

You can't rely on Hydras alone. You need Defilers too and maybe Queens. Either plague the bcs or dark swarm over your Hydras. But if you have enough, Hydras can overrun bcs on their own, because battlecruisers can't run in, attack, and run out like Carriers can. But you need spells if there's a big group of bcs.

BCs: scourge, plague, dark swarm/hydras, mass hydras.
Carriers: scourge+plague.

If you're using pure scourge then use 6 scourge per carrier/BC. Each BC will shoot down 1 before the rest hit.
