Going to start regular games more....

Well ever since I have had Starcraft I've always just played UMS, UMS, UMS. Personally UMS is really boring me right now mainly because of the lack of new games out there. So anyways I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some basic tactics for regular games.

Maybe some rushing tactics and some not so rushing... any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Like what race(s) you play and what you're playing against, etc.

Well I didn't want to get race specific. Just in general. But maybe stratagies for Protoss (not against any race in particular)

Regular games, like 1vs1?
That is pretty much impossible to answer, I can tell you that.

Sure 1vs1 or bigger games. I know its kind of vast but maybe just stratagies for rushing... or building up my army fast.

Yeah, seriously. There is nothing we can do for you if you don't give us more information. there is no such thing as a universal strategy that works on all 3 races, each race is different thus each strategy is in some way, is different.

tvp/pvt?
zvz/pvp/tvt?
1v1/2v2?
even what map? not all low money maps work the same, there are some strategys that you can do on some maps that you simply can't do on others.

stay away from money maps.... it's all immature newbs that think they are good because they can mass....

Doesn't exist. There are no general strategies. Don't waste time asking for them.

yea there are...
build 1.5 peons for every mienral patch u have
3 peons on a geyser
DONT EVER LET UR EXPANSION FALL, NEVER EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. TREAT IT AS UR MAIN BASE, ALWAYS.
keep ur minerals and vespene gas as close to 0 as possible
if ur getting too many minerals, build another gateway or factory
when ur zerg u might want to consider making ur second hatchery at an expansion site. this should only be done on maps that are at least 128x128
