| How to use a extra unit I started using this Scmdraft editor, and it shows additional unused units.
Is the a way to give these units the abilities & weapons the other units have?
Also can you change the type of unit (Air, Ground, Etc.)
Thanks,

| No and no. Air units are always air, ground are always ground, and the attacks and abilities that are available to give a unit can't be changed either

| Assuming you can't place and use them, some unused units can be used to make your map crash. I know, an odd use, but it's there if you need it

| Some can be placed somewhere, and will only crash the map for people who look at it. Also, some unused units can be placed and used just like a regular unit.

| New Map I am thinking about a new map with a "alien abduction" scenario.
What is needs is a Air unit with Mind Control.
Any thoughts on how to accomplish this? |

| One of the best uses for unused units is to provide you with extra units for death counters. |

It simply has a location over it which always centers on it, and gives all enemy units at that location to the player who owns the Queen.
There are other ways you could do this as well, but all of them would likely incorporate use of the "Give units at location" condition somewhere.

| I would do something like that with a corsair. You can detect disruption webs with triggers, so whenever there is a disruption web all you have to do is center a location on it, remove it, then give all enemy units in that location to that player. |

| That sounds closer to what I want to do.
I just have to give "disruption webs" to the shuttle, and I will be all set. |

| you could force the shuttle to always be moved to the corsair's location, or vice versa. |
