| Overlapping Buildings I finally figured out why map keeps crashing SC.
Apparently, some of my objects are overlapping, even though the editor allows me to place them.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks, |

| I guess, I was not very clear about the problem.
The editor does not show them as overlapping.
But yet the map crashes, until find the one that is and fix it. |

| The most common reason why maps always crash is because there is a unit placed off the edge of the map. No part of any unit can be placed off the edge of the map.
If that's not your problem, upload your map into your post and I can check it out. |

| Another issue you could be having with stacked buildings is if you're stacking hatcheries, lairs, or hives. Stacking those just the right way does something to the larvae that will crash your map as soon as it starts. Like Lwek said, if nothing said in this thread is the problem, upload the map and we'll check it out for you.

| My Map I know it is a modification of an original SC map, and it is a bit one-sided.
I am just learning how to use the editor.
The previous revision worked, and the only objects added are the protoss units and structures.
Thanks, |

| Try this revision and see if the problem is fixed. I removed two of the Photon Cannons which looked to be off the edge of the map. If that was the problem, it should work now.

| Apparently, that was it.
The only other error, that came up was an unable to place unit, but I think I know what that is.
Thanks, |

| I would say your misplace error is from when you create the Nexus for Player 1, because "Player 1 Nexus" is too far to the right. Notice how there is a cannon just barely under the location. Either remove the cannon, or move the location "Player 1 Nexus" slightly to the left, and it should fix the problem.
