Help on map making

Yah i have a problem with my map. This is my second one i amde using a special editor. i got the same problem as last time. when i click to play the map, the whole program just shuts down. Any possibilities? its fixable cuz i fixed my last map but i forgot how

There are a number of things which can cause your map to crash. A major one can be fixed by making sure none of your units are off the map, or in the bottom left or right hand corners. That will crash it every time

another problem that i had is because the map wasnt regulation size, i think they are like 64x64, 128x128, 256x256; i had mine on 101x101 cause i was making a specially made terrain by hand and it would work...

The problem with having a custom map dimension(NOT 64, 96, 128, 192, 256) is that it'll crash if that's the first game you play in Starcraft. To have it not crash, just play another map without a standard dimension first.
(Example: Play (2)Challenger, quit the game, then play the map that's 90x90.)

Of course, if you're able to fix the dimensions, that's a good idea, especially if you want other people to host it, because other people either won't know or just won't want to start a different map first.
