| Constant Nukes? As some of you who have played some of my recent maps know, I like to have some eye candy in them.
My Eye Candy can be a dude surrounded my enemies attacking him to background noise, such as siege tanks blasting the hell out of something that regenerates its health.
I've always been a fan of nukes. Nothing like "Nuclear launch detected" to make someone go "OMG HOLY SHIT!"
Well... I've been making small 64x64 maps to test out eye candy ideas. My most recent is Nukes! I have 4 ghosts nuke 4 different areas. I am wanting this to be constant, as in the ghosts nuke, the nuke falls, the ghosts nuke again, the nuke falls again, etc... for the whole game. I've got the "Build Nuke AI Trigger" and the "Nuke Here Trigger" and put them on preserve. Yet after the first nukes are cast and fall, they dont nuke again...
How can I fix this!?

| Perhaps the supply limit? I don't know when you order the AI to build the nuke, if before or after the other nuke fall. However, if it is before, you will have to build 4 more supply depots so it will work.
If you don't know what I mean, try this: Create a map, with only one Command Center (that will give you 10 supply), one Nuclear Silo (with a nuke), and a ghost. With this, you'll have 9 supply taken. Now, fire up the nuke. Untill it blows, you can't build another. Perhaps that is what's happening there? |

| I've got enough supply.
I've made it an 8 player map, 6 humans and 2 comps. Player 8 is the Nukers, Player 7 is the Targets.
I make all my eye candy tests 8 players 64x64 to get feedback from friends.
I'll upload the map here so you all can take a look at WTF I'm doing wrong...

| AI is messed up in the new patch or so I believe. What I think you should try is give the Command Center to a different computer then have them nuke, then give the Command Center back to the other computer. I'm pretty sure you're not able to give the Nuclear Silo to another player. |

| @ Hiho
I made the nukes free.
@Lwek
>< I've tried that!
I've tried using complex switch setup.
I've tried using waits.
I've tried killing the ghosts the silos after the first nukes drop then have more put it their place about 10 seconds later.
I've tried everything I know!
><
Oh well... On to my next idea. I'll put this one on hold til I can find out how to make it work, or some else can make it work.

| I actually had this theory tested and it worked. But I can't ever get to the computer with the map because everyone at my house keeps player The Sims 2.
What I did was:
I had many ghost in one area.
I had 4 nuclear silos.
With trigger, I created 4 Command Center.
Told the ghost to nuke.
Then gave gave the Command Centers and ghost to another computer player.
Told them to nuke.
Then gave the Command Centers and ghost back to the other player.
Nuclear Silos alone will always be neutral when created by trigger. |
