Doodads

Ok, a while ago, i can't remember how long, but im pretty sure it happened, somebody asked about square tiles. He got some answers, like a program. But somebody but something else. It was CrookedFoot, or somebody else whos smart. He has some stuff about selecting a doodad, then doing some weird stuff, then you could place the doodad anywhere. It was something along those lines. IF you know how to do something like that, or even just a way to put doodads anywhere on the map (Ex. a dirt doodad on water/jungle/ruin)

For square tile you need the utility called ISOM.
Find it at this page

http://www.campaigncreations.org/sta...ms/index.shtml

about 3/4 the way down.

If your looking for an editor to place things anywhere for the doodads, the "StarCraft X-tra Editor 2.5" same page, first download.

Anything more, we will need more detail as to what you are doing.

I think you have to place them from the unit menu, not the doodad menu.
They are labeled under Traps, Doors, and Xtra.

The only doodads that are placeable anywhere are the ones Crookedfoot mentioned. Other doodads, such as ramps and trees, seem to be confined to their tilesets.
