GUEdit help

ok, i dont know where else to turn and i DONT know what im doing wrong

anyway onto my problem, i know how to extract and crap and i extracted GUEdit (and mpq2k with all its shit) into a new freakin directory, installed java and go to run program.. starts up fine go to load map in progress... command screen opens up.... cant do crap..... wait a few seconds and error pops up (god what now?) stating that the piece of crap cant find the lmpqapi.dll library...
please any ehlp at all would be nice

What features from GUEdit do you want to use?

Unless you excuisetly want to use it to change the players colors there are other programs out now that can do most functions that GUEdit can do. That might be the easiest way out.

If you have XP, extract the whole guedit folder into:
C drive>Documents and Settings>Someone's user(can't rememeber)>WINDOWS>system
In theory: if you don't have XP, extract the whole guedit folder into the system folder in Windows

I experienced some sort of the same problem, so I emailed some person at a weird site and he told me to do that. It worked. Try that first and if it doesn't work, redownload Guedit from another site.

GUedit will not load maps if staredit is open.

sorry to bother you again i jsut wannted to ask you a question and i didnt want to start a new thread, when i open a map in GUEdit it opens it fine i can do anything i want to but the minute i try to load another map it displays the lmpaqaqi library error, my friend has the same problem..
any advice?

Close guedit, and open guedit again.
I really don't suggest you use guedit for anything right now.

Use one of these programs or use them all!
